Spiral Scratch Ltd.

Spiral Scratch was set up in 2003 to develop and commercialise its collection of novel imaging technology. The company was borne out of Unilever plc after winning Unilever's 'Business Incubation' competition. TMMG recognised the uniqueness of this company and felt that an investment of capital would help to position Spiral Scratch in exploiting its technology in a variety of areas, including the toy and games console markets. Matrix also supported a second round of finance for the business, to aid the company in progressing its core technology. We were delighted in 2008, when Spiral Scratch went on to secure over £1m in European grant money. This money is now being used by the company to help develop a specialist technology for the blind.
